Solidarität mit Wissenschaftler:innen aus der Ukraine

ua_handThe Department of History at LMU Munich, together with the German-Ukrainian Historical Commission (DUHK), the Project House Europe and the Center for Global History, has launched a program that enables Ukrainian scholars in the historical sciences to spend up to six months at LMU. The German-Ukrainian Historical Commission (DUHK) will circulate the information in its networks. The project is mainly funded by donations, the commitment of many people inside and outside the university and the support of public and private institutions. If you would like to support our project, we would be grateful for your donation.

Applications are informal and require only a CV, a brief description of the project and of the personal situation. The fellowship will provide funding to support researchers and their families in Munich. This Fellowship is primarily designed to support Ukrainian researchers who have already fled their country or who are free to leave. People who will get a scholarship have an obligation of residence in Munich. We do not provide remote scholarships.

If you are in an emergency situation and currently unable to submit an actual application, please contact Dr. Iryna Klymenko: Iryna.Klymenko@lrz.uni-muenchen.de.
