Prof. Dr. Olena Pavlova is a Professor of Ethics, Aesthetics and Cultural Studies at the Taras Schevchenko National University of Kyiv.
In 2017 she took part in organizing the Polish-Ukranian Center for Humanities Studies, a collaboration between Kyiv University and the University of Zielona Góra, Poland. Since 2019 her research on post-Soviet discourses and practices has been supported by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
Prof. Pavlova’s project at the LMU was aimed at investigating cultural-historical approaches to the perceptions and memory of war in Ukraine. Since October 2022, Prof. Pavlova has been continuing her research at Humboldt University, Berlin.
